the crepuscular hour

A sight to hearten shepherds and city folk alike. Thinning, cirrus clouds net the red, spectral light of sundown, heralding fair weather on the horizon. red sky at dusk over London rooftops

Betwixt the dark and light
angled between day and night
is the blue hour

as soon as shadows fade
silhouettes are made
quick as a passing shower

Dusk is the darkest stage
for us, a silver age;
crepuscular power
