linger in the tracery

morning_shadowswere this evening
we would speak of gloom and shades
and hurry home
before the long arm of darkness reached out
and swallowed us whole

but early summer morning
turns waste bins into filigree
and our footsteps linger in the tracery

      1. Thanks again. I don’t work enough with b/w though I like the rsults at times for certain photos. Shadows should certainly be one … except the yellow photos in the prompt would have been a shame to convert!
